Defusing Chip Schacter is a fifth year student at the Academy, and was the second student Ben met when he first arrived on campus. Throughout the first book he is a bully to him, but Chip now respects Ben and has become part of his friend group.
Biography
Before Chip was recruited to Spy School, he attended an arts academy. He specialized in acting, singing, tap dance, and playing the oboe, and even Erica says he was quite good.

Defusing
Chip looks like the quintessential spy-to-be, with perfectly coiffed brown hair, a chiseled jaw, and broad shoulders. He is very strong, works out a lot, and often uses his menacing attitude to bully younger students.
Chip is essentially a bully, tough and manipulative. He roams the school with his two thugs, Greg Hauser and Kirsten Stubbs. He tries to blackmail everyone to cheat for him. Sometimes, he can be violent and impertinent.
Skills & Abilities
Chip is very skilled in hand to hand combat; coupled with his strength and sneakiness, he makes a formidable agent. He is great at imitating voices, and can also sing, dance, and play the oboe. He learned these acting skills at an arts academy.
